The Biloxi Public Schools School Board recently welcomed its newest member, Wise Carter Attorney Jane Meynardie.

About Jane

Jane is a native of Biloxi who attended Biloxi Public Schools until her graduation as Salutatorian of Biloxi High School.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College and her law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.

She practiced law with the Public Finance Group of the New York law firm (then known as Dewey Ballantine Bushby Palmer & Wood until 1995) when she returned to Mississippi and joined Wise Carter Child & Caraway. She currently practices in Wise Carter’s Gulf Coast office.

Jane was sworn into her new position at the March school board meeting by former judge and family friend Clare Sekul Hornsby.
